Wonder if that is the same location that the old track was on or is that on another area of the fairgrounds. Should be interesting to see the finished product.
No, the current track sits excactly where the plaza/midway is drawn in. The entrance in the top right is currently a city street that runs striaght down along the back grandstand and there are about 10 +/- houses between it and the railroad tracks that will need to be bought out. I'm not a construction person at all but, this drawing sure looks like it would cost more than 14 million to build.
