I never said 30,000 people at the fairgrounds.
The city said they are expecting 30,000 people over the weekend.

I am not trying to say anything bad about the burg. In fact I think it is ****** for the city to schedule anything at the fairgrounds on dates Dave is putting on a race. IMO Dave and crew are the best we have ever had.
That being said if you want to take the Nungsters advice go right ahead.

What the heck are you talking about? They built a rodeo rink and a bunch of telephone poles. so there are BOTH and no grandstand for the rodeo rink. I said they've had concerts back there before and even had the Motorcycle track run. It never effected us. Except as Sandy said, The lot behind the grandstand and turn four gate were closed.

My only advice is that parking won't be a problem. See you Sat.

I believe it's a skills challenge for power crews...Correct?

There is always room for one more in the corner! I'm disguised as a responsible adult!...

That's why they lost the Lucas Oil race and replaced it with the "hornet nationals"

If I had to guess he made more money putting in a hornet race then a Lucas late model race!!
I have to give them credit. When ever track in Indiana cancels dave works his butt off to get the race in.
They also promote the track better then past owners. Radio, emails, text, mailers. That all takes time and money.

Heading to the Burg on Saturday after work. Not worried about parking. The fairgrounds is a big place. The antique show is probably worse.

the lineman's rodeo is Friday and Saturday. it start's at 8 am. 2 of our crews from duke energy here in cincy were invited. a local racer here in cincy is in charge of training for the lineman and the rodeo's. it's a neat competition with a lot of pride on the line.
