Looking at this picture I seen on Facebook of the work going on...Looks like some widening is going on. Either that, or my eyes are playing tricks on me.

What about the banks though? Hope they still bank it up nice. I miss running Bloomington! Hope to make a return appearance sometime in 2014!

I hear 10ft wider, more bank in corners, no bank in straight. I think it is completed.

would be nice if they made it a 1/2 mile high bank, its not like they don't have the room to do it

It used to be a 1/2 back in the old days!

Last thing locals need is a half mile engine eater. Doesnt look wider to me, just looks like they cut the banking down. Maybe theyre not done yet. A little more width would probably help with the racing, especially to the mods and stocks. I think Shu said it before, it needs flattened out on the inside groove, that makes it harder to roll around the bottom.

No, it wouldn't! Car counts and competition would go way down. Terre Haute is the perfect 1/2 mile track. We don't need no stinkin' high banks! (Please excuse the incorrect grammar; just trying to emphasize my feelings).

^^ Giggling at the last two post and asking which track had a 37 average and only one race with less than 25 sprints?

The answer might surprise you. Or not.

And I'll agree that it cost more to run there. I still say there's a lot less wrecks simply because of its size.

When you see it you will not find a 1/2 mile track.
