BRIGHT GOES FOR 2ND BIG DIAMOND EASTERN MIDGET VICTORY FRIDAY

Pottsville, Pennsylvania (July 16, 2018).........Collegeville, Pennsylvania's Alex Bright has three USAC Eastern Midget wins this season, including one in May at Big Diamond Speedway, where the series returns this Friday night, July 20. His five top-10s have him third in the series standings, just 35 points out of the lead.

Andrew Layser is the series leader, 24 points ahead of Shawn Jackson entering Friday’s race.

Neither Layser nor Jackson have cracked the winners circle this year, but Layser has six top-10s in six starts and Jackson has a third and a fourth among his five top-10s.

In addition to Bright, 2018 winners have included Tommy Kunsman, Jr., Steven Drevicki and Adam Pierson.
