New to sprint cars in 2019. I've heard, not sure where, that brass torsion tube bushings are used in one end of the car and nylon or other material on the other. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Len

The brass is normally used on the arm side. The leverage exerted from the arm is much greater than the stop side. The brass will deform eventually but not as fast as the nylon. You don`t have to mix them up. Whichever ones you use just watch the wear. A good new straight torsion bar should spin with your fingers in new bushings...

I always used sintered bronze, made my own, you can buy it in sticks of dia and ods, and just cut to length, the material is lubed when manufactured, so it seldom needs relubed.

You could like Karl use to do
Front: Alum arm, plastic stop
Rear: Bronze arm, alum stop

Len, a lot guys including me have ran the plastic bushings for years on Front & Rear!!
Zemco or DMI Bushings are the best. Get a reamer if one is a little tight, take a little bit out, till the bar spins, FREE.

Use Titanium, Steel or Aluminum Torsion Stops in the Front. Rear only Use Steel or Titanium!! Asking for big trouble using Aluminium Stops on the Rear.

I got plenty of New & Used Parts still for Sale! PM Me before you buy anything else you need. I can give you plenty of good advice.

THANKS
