This Friday we pay tribute to a young man who took cancer head on, live to the fullest, and LOVED coming to the races here at Jacksonville Speedway and elsewhere in James "Bubba" Grant. You could never miss Bubba as he always had a big smile on his face and loved racing, any kind of racing. This one's for you Bubba!

Friday is the James "Bubba" Grant Memorial with $1,000 To Win Midwest Street Stock Championship, 305 Sprints, Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Micros and Hornets. Grandstands open at 5:00. Racing at 7:00. Adult admission $12. Ages 11-18 $5. Kids 10 and Under Free.

Sunday it's JBHawks Smash Bash 2 - featuring a big Mike Brown Promotions Demo Derby. Grandstands open at 3:00. Derby starts at 5:00. Adult grandstand admission is $12. Ages 11-16 $5. Kids 10 and under FREE.
