I guess that expression only works when you turn 40.:O:

Happy Birthday Eric Gordon!!:thumb

Best wishes to E.G.

I hope your not saying 41 is old. That makes me ancient.

Happy B-day Eric!!

Hard to believe you are that old now. Seems like only yesterday you were a kid making a run at the USAC national sprint championship. Hope you have a good one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC!!!

Always a favorite on the track, one of my fond memories goes back several years to a USAC race at K-C Raceway in Alma, OH. As the cars for the feature were lined up on the track for the feature, an announcer with a hand mike started to conduct a short intro interview with each of the drivers. This at around midnight (:headbang). Eric strongly suggested to the guy that he "knock off the B.S. and let's get racing". I think Jack Hewitt won the feature that night, but the whole doggone grandstand was rooting for Eric Gordon. :thumb

No, no. Not at all. I was merely commenting that the saying "Lordy, Lordy, look who's 40" as seen on many a yard sign, doesn't really work for any other age than 40. Just for the record, I turned 41 last month.:wink

I remember when he won his first sprint race. Believe it was Union County Speedway, but don't remember the year. Happy Birthday
