Only actually got to meet him a couple times at Gas City and he was very nice and knowlegable.
Swapped messages and info back and forth all the time on IOW with him though and knew he loved this sport of racing and wanted as many other people to enjoy it as well. I'll never make it, But I aspire to be that way. Miss ya Mr. Clock!

Became good racing friends in a hurry with Dwight when he moved back here. Had the pleasure and honor of showing him around the area upon his first visit to the 'Burg for a late season USAC race culminating in lunch at Arbys. There were times when it was obvious that he wasn't feeling well. Especially once at Gas City. But, never heard him complain. Miss ya Dwight. R.I.P. Racer........

I too was fortunate enough to become friends with Dwight. I remember seeing Dwight also at Gas City when he wasn't feeling well. Perhaps it was the same time you mentioned, as my trips to Gas City have been few and far between.

It doesn't seem like 9 years. I met Dwight here on this board (Called USACFans at the time) and met him in person for the first time at Winchester. I was lucky enough to get to talk to Dwight many times and miss his wisdom here on this board. He was a very smart man (racing and otherwise) and also a good man, that liked to help others.
