Coleman is back in NY this week for the first time since April. We are thrilled to have him home. Unfortunately for CGR Fans, Coleman will not be competing this weekend for what we feel are the right reasons.

On Thursday, Coleman will be attending his High School Senior Prom back here in NY, something that all of us felt is an important event in Life that you cannot get back.

On Friday, Coleman will be joining our Entire Family for a very special Dinner occasion; His Paternal Grandparents are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Friday and The Iceman will be with all of us for this special event.

Finally on Saturday, Coleman will be celebrating his High School Graduation with a big Party at the Gulick Residence in Binghamton. Coleman graduated in March with Honors from Ablaze Academy and all his NY friends and Family will be celebrating this achievement. If Indiana was closer, we would have invited ALL the IOW Greats to join us!

As a 3rd generation racer, Coleman has heard all the "Priorities" stories when it comes to racing since his Grandfather and Father raced for years as well and missed many functions in those years. However, these are milestones in Life that are far too important and we feel he has his priorities in order.

So Brian Cripe is getting everything ready for the Iceman's return the first weekend in July and of course for USAC Speedweek, including a power plant freshening from Claxton.

Look for the Iceman to return to action the first weekend in July and to all our supporters, we apologize for the absence this weekend and hope you understand. Thanks for your support.

The Gulick's

First of all I would like to say congratulations to Coleman's grandparents for attaining 50 years of marriage. Quite an accomplishment. It is also nice to see that he still is a young man fully grounded and taking advantage of youthful opportunites that come along only once in a lifetime. Your senior prom and high school graduation only comes along once and it is refreshing to see that he plans on enjoying both.

Pete, I hope you and the entire Gulick family enjoys this time together celebrating some real great accomplishments. Racing will still be here when the Iceman returns. We look forward to seeing more of the #14 the rest of this season.

I echo the excellent posts above. It is obvious that the whole Gulick family does indeed have their priorities straight. Best wishes for a great weekend for you all and I look forward to seeing you back in Indiana.

Congrats to Coleman on his milestone and family gatherings. I totally understand about the once in a life time Prom. J.J. missed racing because of his Prom. All I have to say is take lots of pictures as we know how fast our kids are growing up.
Enjoy your milestone and see you back here in Indiana soon.
