If you have never been, this is, to me, a racing bucket list item. Impressive event with pageantry that is just right and not over the top. Almost dignified in today’s world. 38 cars last night and with mechanical gremlins and accidents ended up starting 31. The race for 2nd through about 8th was exciting all night long. Just a real favorite of mine.

I am so happy for Jacob Wilson and his win last night. Yeah the drivers I wanted to see win (Windom and Fike) didn't have the best of nights but that was one damn good race. Can't wait for Springfield to be run.
Mother Nature better have her stuff together and let that race happen.

After years of seeing rubber down huggy pole on the miles, the last two seasons have really been a treat! It sure looks to me like they are running harder tires that don't really lay rubber. Justin Grant passed a bunch of cars in the last 5 laps running up on the wall to take second...incredible to watch.

Since Richie Tobias’ classic win at DuQuoin under the lights, more times than not they’ve been able to run both low and high
