Leaving California to visit Muncie, Indiana. Will arrive 7/15 Through 7/22, Looking forward to some sprint dirt track racing That I shouldn't miss. Any ideas? Thanks

Well a short drive down I-69 to I-70 then west to Terre Haute at the Vigo Co Fairgrounds one mile south of I-70 on the 16th. Backtrack 30 miles on I-70 to Putnamville Lincoln Park at the Greencastle Exit on the 17th. 18th is Bloomington, 19th a the extreme SW corner of the state is Tri State Haubstadt.

ALL USAC INDIANA SPRINTWEEK races with best of the best. Lots of seating at all those tracks. 6pm sharp all those tracks. Tri State is on Central time, One hour behind rest of state.

Also Waynesfield Raceway Park BOSS SPRNT CARS DICK SPENCER MEMORIAL, Probably closest track will have a very big field of NW sprints and maybe bigger than normal for cars not wanting to run Sprintweek Closet track to Muncie Running that week near Wapakoneta OH.

Thanks Charles, now do you mean waynesfieldl raceway park is closest to Muncie or is it in OH. Also is speedweek ran at different tracks. And lastly I'm assuming you can get into pits. Thanks for all the info

Waynesfield is near Wapakoneta OH and is the closest track to Muncie running Non Wing Sprints that week. Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series is running that Saturday at Waynesfield. Could easily top forty cars.

Sprintweek is 7 tracks in 9 nights run at different tracks yes.
Pitpass's are available at all tracks, Usually 30 dollars. Grandstand is 25

Jul 12 Kokomo, IN Kokomo Speedway
Jul 13 Lawrenceburg, IN Lawrenceburg Speedway
Jul 16 Terre Haute, IN Terre Haute Action Track

Jul 19 Haubstadt, IN Tri-State Speedway

Chuck better get his map back out.Closest track to Muncie is Gas City at a half hour,then Kokomo is an Hour,Putnamville and Lawrenceburg about the same distance as Waynesfield from Muncie.

Dear Aero, Read his post again and the dates mentioned, There is no sprint racing at LBurg, Kokomo or Gas City that week. See ya sometime this week.
