I will be rooting for Jacob Wison, Eric Gordon, Chet Fillip and Troy De Caire. Would really love to see Jacob win the Little 500. Wish I could be there.

I have to agree. He has been close a number of times... Just hasn't had lady luck on his side. Maybe this year that will change!

2 cars I am pulling for 07 Jacob Willson and the 5 of Tony Elliot. Jacob is always strong at this race. If he is able to get 500laps worth of some luck, he will be the winner. Seems like some one takes him out every year. Tony Elliot is the sweatheart of the field. How many top 3 does he have? I really hope he gets one before he retires. Have been pulling for him for several years. Plus how cool would if be to see a v6 in victory lane again. Chet Phillip represents everything I love about this race. Have no problem at all if he were to pull it off again. 1 thing i will miss this year is Dave Steel. The man needs to be in this race. I understand him making a living, but he adds so much to the race. Even in years when the car is off the pace (i.e. not leading) he is still able to run on the lead lap. He is also a guy that can make up a lap on the track. Plus its always fun to watch Eric and him battle!

Anyone doing updates today? Also did everyone make it through the storms last night? Looked like there was a big crowd of campers at the track last night. The wind was deffinatlly strong.

We would like to see Tim or Jason Cox in victory lane. Tim has been trying for years. His son Jason is a rookie at this years Little 500. It has been our pleasure to have been able to write articles about them both. Give Tim's wife and Jason's mom Cheryl credit for keeping everything together. Having a husband and son going after the Little 500 has to be a nerve wracking to say the least. These three are super people. Most may not know that Tim's dad Roger Cox was a excellent race starter. Roger could wave the flags with the best of them. Keeping the racers in line is one tough job. Roger had the drivers respect.
Someone brought up Jeff Bloom's name here is a guy that been around. I recently found an article about the Little 500, pictured is the 1974 winner Jeff Bloom's number 26 "Ole Yeller, she's a beaut Clark.
