The AG link plus http://powri.com should also have info. Looking forward to my 66th and final race of 2013. Can't say last "event" since I will be at PRI.

When they work the track between races, take the time to go into the hall for something to eat/drink and get some fresh air. Seat cushions are nice also. (Maybe I'm getting old--ya think?)
Between the race, check out the POWRi t-shirt tables and chat with Donna about the plans for the winter.

Someone called it the poor man's Chili Bowl. Not quite there yet but a great warmup for the CB.

Looking forward to seeing you all there. Wanda K.

4th Annual Great Clips Battle at the Center presented by K&N Filter

POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series returns to DuQuoin Illinois Saturday, December 7th for the 4th Annual Great Clips Battle at the Center presented by K&N Filter on the Mini Magic Mile in the DuQuoin Southern Illinois Center.

The event is expected to draw an "All Star" cast of drivers. The one-day race will feature a 40-lap Main Event. The event is being taped by MAVTV American Real for delayed broadcast on a date to be determined.

The Southern Illinois Center is located on the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. Front gates open at 3:00pm, hot laps at 5:00pm with racing immediately following.

Due to the limited pit space, pit spots will be assigned by date of entry. The Battle at the Center entry form can be found under the DOWNLOADS link located at the top of POWRi web site.
