Word from around the circles in that Don Smith of Riley (Terre Haute) passed away.
In terms of short track racing, Im not sure there are many who've done more to support it than Don. If you seen First National Bank of Terre Haute on a car, track billboard etc. And Im sure there was a ton behind the scenes unknown. Don was behind it. R.I.P Don Smith.

From everyone at both the Terre Haute Action Track and at Track Enterprises, we would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Don Smith. We are all extremely thankful for his contributions to the sport of dirt track automobile racing. God Speed Don!
