Anybody have a running list of possible drivers for Joliet this Thursday (April 27th)? Any Indiana drivers? Would love to see some venture in to Illinois, especially after seeing some of the names that showed up at Danville tonight. Plus having midgets on the card, could it draw some hitters to do some open wheel double-duty? Thanks for any info!

Some of the bigger names might not show up with Silver Crown practice friday in Phoenix

This has the potential to be a great night of racing. However, it seems like a lot to squeeze in on a week night. If they have the track properly prepared prior to the cars getting on it, that will go a long way to keeping the show going without lengthy delays for track work. Unfortunately I work afternoons this week so I won't be there but I hope it's well supported and a great time is had by all

Weather forecast is getting better, and it's sounding like a pretty good variety off Illinois, And Indiana cars plan on making the trip up to Joliet!

Very good chance of rain overnight, but tomorrow looks good. Hopefully it's just the right amount to give us a good track and not make it too hard on the track crew. Due to a work schedule change looks like I'll be there. Hope to see you there too

There has been a moderate to light rain since 10 last night. It should be out of here by 8am. The pit area is paved with asphalt so that should not be an issue. Hopefully there is enough time to work the track between the time the rain stops and practice starts!

Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet,IL just cancelled. Rescheduled for next Wednesday. The POWRi Midgets can't return. So the show will be Non-Wing Sprint Cars, UMP Super Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, & DII Midgets. The is per Sherri Heckenast Facebook Page.
