Tony has stated that "The Rumble" would be the only indoor race he would compete in this year. I got to thinking about it a little more. It's been said that he will be there Saturday night, but would not be able to make it Friday night. The #14 TBA Stewart racing has been moved to Wednesday night. The Rumble was in 2008 and The Chilibowl is 2009. Does anyone else think that there's still a good possibility that he will be entered and competing in this years edition of the Chilibowl. Not pre-entering will allow him the miss the ROC on Tuesday, race Wednesday night, return to Daytona for fan fest Friday, and fly back to Tulsa for Main events Saturday. Just a thought.

I can't tell you whether Tony will race in the 2009 Chilibowl or not; my guess would be yes but what do I know. What I do know is where Tony was on 1/3/09, he was riding in the Fiesta Bowl Parade in Phoenix.

Granted it probably is the work of Tony and his sense of humor... but didn't he compete in the 2008 Chili Bowl? That would make the Rumble his second indoor race of the year... hmmm :O:
