Don't care for the 51/49 deal but don't have time to elaborate. Received the HARF Summer News yesterday (5/20) which noted that the deadline for getting in on the Hoosier Hundred Club deal (sounds good) is 5/14. So I guess I'd better hurry. Oops, tooooo late.

no matter how you spin it IF they run to this format then the Hoosier Hundred is dead as we know it, 100 means just that 100 NON STOP laps, a red for an accident is one thing, a red to "spice things up" is another. If this is what it's come to then let it die an honorable death because the memories will be better than this dog and pony show......

I think that the lap 51 red flag is a poor decision. A 100 lap race should be a 100 lap race. Looking back over the years, there have been several times when the yellow flag laps and the green flag laps were about equal at lap 51.
However I still plan on being there. How often can you see real race cars on a 1 mile dirt oval?

Maybe if more people went to race before, they never would have to consider changing it in the first place. I do not like change, and don't really care for the red flag idea, but I am planning on going.

Maybe for the race at springfield they could run 25 laps then flag it invert the field and start over for another 25 laps flag that do it over again 2 more times. Then the big teams could spend 3 more times the cost of tires. I think i have stumbled onto a way hoosier could make more money.
