52 sprints on hand

Quick Time: Daryn Pittman; track was very fast and Pittman's run almost broke the track record held by Jason Solwold.

Heat Winners: Wayne Johnson, Lucas Wolfe, Greg Hodnett and Brian Ellenberger.

C-Main: Tim Kaeding (on the last lap, a black/orange #4 passed Paul May for the last transfer; this after banging the front stretch wall hard coming off of four; it's a name I've read before, but can't think of it now).

B-Main: Danny Lasoski; Wild Child Jac came from the last row to take the last transfer spot when Randy Hannagan lost his second motor of the evening while in 2nd; Brian Paulus was fifth and just missed making the show.

Feature: Donny Schatz, Jason Meyers, Steve Kinser, Lance DeWease and Daryn Pittman. Donny drew the pole position but did not lead all the way. Meyers took the lead early but lost it when they approached a slowing Wayne Johnson. Meyers drew close and at times appeared to have the faster car but just couldn't get the break with lap traffic.

The race ran clean and green all the way. Yet another night that did not see any red flags:applaud:

Lance DeWease continues his top5 finishes and should easily be the early All Star points leader.

Excellent racing in the UMP Mods that featured Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace. Schrader finished fourth. Race was won by J. Stovall from Missouri.

The weather was beautiful and never needed to put on a jacket. Hope it stays that way for at least two more nights.

Speaking of weather, I was listening to WLW700 on XM while driving back to the hotel. Steve Somers was saying there are numerous tornadoes in the TN/KY/Ohio Valley area and that he could hear the wind blowing while he was in the studio. Hope all of our IOW members are okay tonight.
