What size would it be? 3/8 D-shaped (super wide like paducah)
Dirt or pave? Dirt (little bank in 1/2...high bank in 3/4)
Which state or country would you build your track? California
Pits in the middle of the track or the outside of the track? Outside (photographer/videographer stands in the infield)
Stands all the way around the track? Both Straights (stadium style)
would you have walls all the way around the track? Yeah
What kind of cars would you have run there? Sprints/Midgets/Focuses/TQs

What size would it be? Mile
Dirt or pave? Dirt
Which state or country would you build your track? Minnesota State Fair Grounds, Falcon Heights, MN
Pits in the middle of the track or the outside of the track? Inside, Infield sunken enough for haulers not to obstruct fans view.
Stands all the way around the track? Sure, why not!
would you have walls all the way around the track? Safer Barrier, too.
What kind of cars would you have run there? USAC Silver Crown Series, Stocks & Mods as track packers.
And what would you name your track? The Minnesota Mile

Of course my screen name would suggest I am not unbiased, but here I go.

What size would it be? 1/4 high banked
Dirt or pave? Dirt ( I agree with the red clay, like that of Bloomington)
Which state or country would you build your track? Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Pits in the middle of the track or the outside of the track? Outside
Stands all the way around the track? No, I would allow for backstretch parking as well as some around a turn to the extent that you could back your truck up near the fence.
would you have walls all the way around the track? As Danny Eichler's car once read "Lawrenceburg Speedway No Fences No Walls"
What kind of cars would you have run there? Ah, the old throwback era, Sprints, Late Models, Modifieds, and Pure or Pro Stocks
And what would you name your track? The Legendary Lawrenceburg Speedway

Oh, and one other thing, it would have to be a Mel Johnson prepped track with Staab or Tom Wilson directing competition. Rudisell still promoting.

With all that being said, I love the new Burg, I just miss the old Burg too.

Lets start building.....:greenflag:
3/8 to 1/2 mile high banked with a eighth mile in the middle.
mid Indiana would utilize a high banked 1/2 mile well.
full wall and catch fenced would be needed.
silver crown, midgets, sprints, wing sprints several times a yr, when the non wing aces are traveling elsewhere.
possibly pits in the infield, no haulers.
micro sprints, tq's, non winged minisprints on the 1/8th mile weekly .

no fendered cars.

I think my wish came true in LBurg.

Now if The mayor can get out of his latest mess. It may get finished.

also, on another note, has anyone posting on here been to shady bowl speedway in ohio?, thats probably one of the coolest pavement tracks ive ever been to, shaped kinda like a triangle , but the frontstretch runs downhill into turn one, and off of turn 2 uphill into turn 3. pretty kool to watch midgets there.....
