My brother and I are going west next weekend for the outlaw show for the first time, we will be camping, I'm just looking for recommendations and wondering if fires are allowed?
Thanks, Chad

Fires are allowed.

Get there early and camp in the lower parking lot along the tree line and creek. It's a shorter walk to the stands if you buy a pit pass and enter through there. It's only $5 more.

Beer and concessions are good value at I-55. Schrader and Ray Marler get it.

It will quickly become one of your favorite race tracks. Outlaws put on a good show there. Well a good to me show as I've learned on here there is never a good wing show. Saw what I believe to be the only non-wing race there in the early 90s and can't wait for USAC to come next year.

Just PM me if you need more info. I've been going to Pevely since it opened.

I went to the Iron Man a couple of years ago. It was a very good show. However, I have never been to a track where I got so much dirt/grit on me as I did at this track. People that go there all the time had googles and breathing masks. You should definitely bring something to cover up with.

I had safety glasses on but I actually took my hat off to cover my face.

It is cool track and some of the viewing options are great, but the facilities are only average.

Pevely is in my top 5 tracks and the ironman is my 2nd favorite event now that powri is there.

Just don't sit in the turns and sit high enough so that the dirt (and its dirt not dust) is bearable.
