I've seen his name in some of the results from out west. Over the weekend he ran in a focus midget race in Tucson.

That is not the same Micheal Lewis. He certainly doesn't need to be working on his pavement skills behind the wheel of a focus car. Last time I saw him he was working for TSR on Levi's pavement cars.

That's Michael J. Lewis, 19 yr old from California. Driving for Western Speed Racing. I think Michael Lewis from Indiana is about 30 yrs old.

Not that 2 guys with the same name having driven for the same team can't happen. There was a Tony Stewart driver out of the Iowa area that drove a street stock. I also seem to think there is about 3-4 race car drivers named Jeremy Miller.

Correct Kuhn74, Michael Lewis, son of PRI's Steve Lewis is driving the Focus midget out west for the same Western Speed team Michael Lewis of Noblesville used to drive for. Indiana Michael is for now retired from driving and is still working for TSR, he and his wife just had a baby recently as was mentioned in a post here on IOW. He was at the IMIS show walking around with Jimmy Carr, Schatz and the crew. His brother Billy still does some racing in the Indy area.

There was a Michael Lewis who was the starting point guard for Indiana's basketball team in the late 1990s.

The general manager at Indianapolis Raceway Park's name was also Michael Lewis.

No relation I presume. Just too common of a name.

Since we are listing different people with the name Michael Lewis, he also plays safety for the San Francisco 49ers.

Former driver of the Lewis Tool Rental #85 Midget Michael Lewis, winner of one of if not the closest race in USAC history (beating Kasey Kahne at Anderson Speedway) has retired from racing, moved to upstate New York working as a Shepard.

Here's a couple of Michael Lewis' greatest racing moments that occurred on national TV in the Thunder Series:

The photo finish between Michael Lewis and Kasey Kahne at Anderson Speedway in 2000...

and yet another battle with Kasey Kahne in the 2001 Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway...
