Thank you for the live video. Say what you want, but getting to watch the show from PIR is pretty damn cool. Knowing I have to be up for work in 5 hours kinda sucks, but it sure beats the old days of waiting for a phone call to find out who won, or waiting to read about it next week.

Thanks again USAC!

When Davey Hamilton crashed in the midget, was he injured? I would assume so since Clausen had to jump into the REV1 #8 to run the Silver Crown event for him. Just wondering??

As far as pavement races go, last night's show was about as good as it gets. The last several laps between Santos and Clauson was Instant Classic material. There you had probably the two best pavement drivers in the sport, throwing everything in their arsenal at one another, lap after lap. The only thing either cared about was getting the win. For Santos, the long trip paid off, with a big win. For Clauson, his sheer desire to win was costly, this time. Either way, it's what makes each driver what he is.

Then in the Silver Crown race, Cole Whitt displayed to the folks on the left coast, what we here in Indiana have known for a couple of years. This guy's the real deal. That's one thing I can agree with Duke on. And if it hadn't been for a lapped car being in the wrong place at the wrong time, who knows who would have won? Kody Swanson had the momentum and was making a serious dive for the tape, at the finish. There very well could have been a photo finish.

These races were perfect stages for these drivers to display some of the qualities that we admire the most about them. Namely, their fierce competitive natures and the fact that these guys seem to have little regard for their own personal safety, in achieving their goal. Lets face it, going that fast, in these type of cars is serious high stakes poker.

A man is about as big as the things that make him angry.

Sounds like I missed a great race. I didn't have my computer on last night. Totally forgot that this race was happening.
