Well Shu looks like we are going to have to follow football, basketball, and baseball and join a race drivers union and have a collective bargaining agreement. Sad thing is that would kill our sport. So we will go on racing for pennys and dimes when the bigger shows hit town. That's the main reason I race one night a week. Gotta keep my real job.

If they need more of a purse, because USAC is obviously not going to change as purses have been stagnant for the last 30 years.

Nobody said anything about things being " Just that easy".... Just local drivers are willing to run for small purses, and as long as they continue to do so why would promoters change anything?

If the Local tracks paid the same as USAC who would run a USAC race?

Could be worse, the local speedway bike promoter pays out according to the number of fans who show up ! I also promise you he cant count and everyone is getting shanked. At least you guys know what your racing for before the end of the night. Everybody who rides speedway does it because they love it. I've been handed 40 bucks at the end of the night after winning a main.

Is someone going to be able to provide updates? They would certainly be appreciated by all of IOWs. :-)
