Yes, it does look like there are a lot more rows of seats. I plan to get there around 2:00PM tomorrow. Will be equipped with goggles this year!

Jim, be advised that although Wayne County is very similar to Macon in length and width, that is where the similarities end. The banking of the corners and the straightaways of Macon are much more acute. Not disparaging either one but the two tracks are very different beyond size.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

We were at the track, late morning today, and was told Uncle Joe's B-BQ will be there and have lots of stuff cooking for lunch and throughout the day.

We're just pulling out for the 4 hour trip South to Wayne City. Hope the weather holds.
