I can't believe someone hasn't said something about Putnamville. Last year during ISW, I sat in the elevated bleachers near turn 4. I got there late and found an empty seat between two sections of blankets marking eight seats each. Behind me was a blanket and in front of me was a blanket. At least 24 prime seats marked by blankets. I spent the ENTIRE evening by myself... No one ever came to claim those seats. The person I felt the worst for was the promoter. He lost some good revenue that night.
I traveled to every event last year during ISW and saw much of the same... Everywhere but Haubstadt. Doesn't seem to be an issue there.... Perhaps the addition years ago of the reserved seating on the back stretch eliminated this issue. Something the other promoters might take note of. |
