Yea what happened is right at the start of qualifying all of the names were lost assigned to transponders. We had to write the times down and cross reference them to the transponder serial number from
Pill draw. This is why names weren't announced with times right as they left the track. Then we lost our line up computer program all together. We had to re-map it. Then we lost the printer that we use to print with. Then the PA amplifier lost some channels. Yea you could say it was a very rough night in the tower but hopefully it wasn't too noticible as we found a way to work through it.
Tower troubles aside, the feature races were phenomenal for both sprint classes thanks to the water truck at sundown. Too bad the minis/midgets had trouble because the first time they ran non wing it was a clean, fast feature. A few guys lacked experience and others drove it in too hard , hence contact and spins. Justin Grant was the man on the move but with no caution flag, he had to settle for fourth. Congrats to T-Mez as he is taking a liking to Ohio non wing victory lanes. Great job WRP owners, track personnel, and race teams!
