I went to Kokomo with Kings Royal rain checks in the glove box from the Saturday rain out. While the racing is admittedly slower without the trainers on top there is a lot more action. I'm not just talking about the passing that is abundant but the charging all over the track to find a bite or better line. Every now and again there is a stinker, such as the feature at Gas City on Friday, but that is the exception. I can usually afford one trip to see sprint car racing and my choice is "traditional".
