I cannot believe what's gone on in the past 24 hours. Kramer was respected by everyone, and disliked by none. He was still very competitive this late into his career, and he will be greatly missed. Prayers going out to all the Williamson family.
Here's a shot I took of Kramer during Time Trials last night at Lincoln.
Sorry to hear about Kramer. This is the toughest year on open wheel racers I can remember in a long time. I hope the rest of the year goes a lot better. I'm getting tired of all this happening.
I never met Kramer, but he was one of us, a racer. So, most of us feel like we've lost a member of our family. I hate this part of our sport.
Prayers for him and his family.
He died doing what he loved and if I had a choice, that is the way I would choose to leave this earth.
Just heartbreaking. I can't count the number of time I've seen Kramer race and win. Seems he's been racing forever. Kids loved the Pink Panther race car and Kramer was a great ambassador for the sport. His passing hurts and will leave a really big hole in the sport.
