Lot’s of great response. I probably should have excluded the Indy 500, because if you have never been to one it should be at the top of your list. To me and many others I would say it’s definitely something you have to do once. Also I loved the 2 wheel response also. I see the AMA flat track series is set to run Terre Haute this year. Does anyone know if that’s the Big Boys or a regional series. If it’s the National series I think I might check it out. But my response to our conversation is and always will be the 4Crown. Besides being the best value in auto racing, all 3 of my my treasured USAC division’s plus some wings for good measure, doesn’t get any better.
Springfield, Bettenhausen Memorial 100. Hoping for a replay of the 2018 race, which was one of the best races of any kind we've ever seen. Watching hot laps and Korey Weyant blasting the high line cushion to the lead in the LCQ alone is/was worth the price of admission.
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
