Las Cruces is WAY down south, almost in Mexico. I thought about driving from Denver a few years ago, but after checking the map, gave up on it. Its 11 hrs. drive, as far as Kansas City. NM is a long North/South as Kansas is East/West

The promoter (Royal Jones) wasn't even there. He was at Apache Junction running his winged car.
