I finally caught up with Hunter Schuerenburg on Saturday night at Haubstadt to hand him his Smackdown award: The hard luck award. Despite having a tough night at Haubstadt,he was around to meet the fans after the race,and I got Clayton Gries to help me hand out the award.
That is the final of the 2013 Indiana Open Wheel Kokomo Smackdown awards,for a total this year of $1550.26.

Admittedly, I'm friends with Andrew and the mowerteam, and a contributor to the pot, but nonetheless, one of them (or a combination?) is going to get my vote for "Fan of the Year", when Bill gets that set up. They are all real fans, who follow the cars all over the area and pay to get in when they get there.
