I dont know where you are coming from and you said you arent much of a pavement fan but any sprint car fan must see the little 5 at least once.Believe me.You wont believe in your wildest dream the first 10 laps.It is amazing to see 11 rows of 3 on a little fast highbank quarter like Anderson.

one of my top 5 races for the whole year is always the Hoosier Hundred the friday night before the race (if Mother Nature allows us to enjoy it). the other fun stops for you should be THAT (Terre Haute Action Track, and the name fits) on thursday night, saturday night is really a pick-n-choose, Lawrenceburg hi-bank dirt is so exciting and scary-fast, Paragon has a ton of sprint cars (with alot of younger racers getting started, but everyone makes a feature), or the always classic Little 500 at Anderson. on that saturday night alone there will be over 200 fire breathing sprint cars in Indiana, does it get any better than that? then sunday, if ya got the energy still, go to Kokomo, you won't be disappointed, you'll see the fastest and closest wheel-to-wheel racing of the weekend. just my humble opinion, but then again i am a professional race fan, but whatever race you pick, it'll be a great evening, after all, we are the World Center of Auto Racing. see you at the track, bob:checkered:

My tentative month of May plans for being at Indy. Bloomington Speedway will be a first time at that track for me. Tri State in Haubstadt, another Indy favorite track of mine is a lot of fun to watch open wheelers - I think so anyway. USAC sprints at Terre Haute on 21May and The Indy Mile on the 22nd of May. The Little 500 I am sad to say for me is doubtful, but I have seen it before and it is an 'amazing race.'

Have a good day...see you at the races

Rich - Arnold, Missouri

May 8
Indy practice during the day.
USAC sprints at Bloomington Speedway that evening.

May 9
Indy 500 practice and qualifying positions 1-10 during the day.
MSCS non wing sprints at Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana that evening.

May 21
USAC sprints Terre Haute

May 22
USAC Silver Crown "The Indy Mile"

Have a good day...see you at the races
