Another photo that I took a few years back at Oswego Speedway - 28 August 1966. Don Branson is seen here standing next to, and facing the Offy powered # 6USAC sprinter that he drove that day - Leader Card Offy I do believe. Don Branson finished 2nd to Mario Andretti this day. :Steer

I know: this photo is off centered and you have to squint to see it - hey! Admittedly, I am a amateur photographer.

Rich, I love these pictures! I watched all of these guys race when I was a kid.

This is fantastic stuff. I was all of 14 or 15 years old at the time. It saddens :crying:me to think that Don "the racing grandfather" Branson only had 2 or 3 months to live when you snapped this photo. I believe he was 46 when he lost his life. He was one of my heroes.
