It's not just for winged pavement sprintcars. Super modifieds, roadsters, and rear engine cars are legal as well. The two guys running the deal have raced any combination imaginable.

I agree that this would struggle as a stand alone program but it might work very nicely as a support show or an addition to a weekly show at a pavement track near you.

You can run a winged sprintcar, winged super modified, winged roadster, or even a rear engine car. The engines must run a 4 barrel carburetor and not make more than 430 horse power. Tires will be American racer 10 inch wide just like the smac, Oswego, and star 350 super modifieds run. All engines will have to pass through a dyno, certified on power, and sealed. It is based out of Lorain County Speedway and they are planning one show at Sandusky Speedway.

Definitely going to be a neat deal. It's been in the works for a while and the right guys for the job. I think a lot of people are going to really like the format and how racey it'll be.
