Consider only from competitive standpoint during a 22 car USAC feature: Third place car racing deal before lap one completed and the car involved restarts on row 11, an uphill battle.Same incident on lap two and the car involved restarts on row 22, no chance.

I would love to see double file restarts and lapped cars to the tail.

Love double file restarts. Being good at starts and restarts is part of the game. Nothing worse than getting a good launch off 4 and dragging the brakes all the way to the cone because the car in front waited until the leaders were in turn 2 to take off.

I think the cone needs to be moved back toward 4 generally speaking if they continue single file. (USAC and All*Stars)

I agree with this as an alternative but really I’m good with single file. Leader should ha e some reward

at many tracks the row you are in can be a huge penalty or huge advantage. You see a lot of cars go to the back and make it back toward the front in traditional sprints and midgets. The cars in the back have options that give them passing opportunities they wouldn't have if they were trapped to one line or the other for several laps until it gets sorted out. Other types of cars can't dart and maneuver like traditional sprints or midgets can so it works better. We are watching probably the most competitive racing in the country with traditional open wheel, why screw it up?

You just threw a couple of death sliders at the car in front of you. They didn't quite work out. Finally after 3 laps the pressure causes him to bobble and you get by. The caution comes out and that car lines up right next to you. HUH!!!
THIS AIN'T PONY STOCKS....
