What are the chances that the Indy 500 is postponed? This virus thing doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. What are other people thinking on this?
If it cannot go on Memorial Day weekend, I'll guess Labor Day weekend / last round of the season is my guess. Although it has been canceled outright before during WWII.

I saw August second as a likely date. That would be better for me because I have tickets for the DuQuoin Silver Crown race on Labor Day weekend. Also IndyCar is scheduled to run in Portland on Labor Day weekend.
Roger is buddy with the man who's name cannot be mentioned, but who says the country should be back to work on Easter. Optimism is out there! NASCAR is still on for May 9th...NHRA posted today they intend to start June 5th...
IF anything, I wonder if the 500 crowd size would just be limited SOME...and then still run on May 24th...run the GP (maybe) and Q without crowds...wean them in on Carb day but skip the concert and all that stuff...
...if you study the John Hopkins #s, it did peak last Friday...

How about they switch it with Nascar . their crowd size would probably be under any cap on crowds and I would just stay there from the BC race though the 500 on the fourth.

Good idea! lol...BUT that may only happen IF Charlotte kicked everyone out of town (or else the taxi-cabs will be running the 600 that night...I'm also confident in that happening!)
PS - I saw Indiana's shut-down is til April 6th (hopefully they don't extend it!)...that still leaves plenty of time b4 May 24th...
