How old is Winchester Speedway?

Is it older than both the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Milwaukee Mile?

Sense, DC won't be on for a while. I looked in my America's Speedways book.

I thought it would be older, but it was built as dirt in 1948. It did not say when they paved it.

Gasman, I thought Winchester was older than that. As in 1914 or so.

Now Salem does go back to around '48, I believe.

Built in 1916 by Frank Funk as a flat 1/2 mile oiled dirt track according to Allan Brown's book "America' Speedways".

It was 1914 by the Frank Funk! I was looking for Ohio! Sorry. 1922 it became a high banked! Another name was the Frank Funk Motor Speedway! Dirt oil.
