I've never seen sprint cars run that low and slow at the burg, oh well it was kinda a learning experience with the new dirt, hopefully they get it figured out by usac night.

Just reminded me of so many on the bottom slicky's of the old track. Also Uncle's wife wasn't feeling well so they left after mod heats. It wasn't a bad night at all, Just different.
Also I was kinda Meh when I got there for some reason, But ended up staying and enjoying the whole show. Big cheer when DIckie took the lead.

I think what you were seeing was dust on top.
I was honestly hoping someone would go up top and run their own groove in.
But given equal traction and since todays tires hookup better on rubber than dirt. the shortest way is the fastest way.

Track was not good at all. This is not the first time terrible track conditions plague a race at Lawrenceburg. Probably the nicest facility on the USAC trail and more times than not, the track is junk. By widening out the track, all you do is take the top 2 lanes out of the equation and make the racing terrible....With the bank they have at this place, you can water it morning, noon and night and it will not hurt it......Move the tires up and make the track smaller and you will have better racing.....
