Personally, it doesn't matter to me what color they are. They don't have to be pretty, just pretty damn fast.

My guess is money. Word is it costs a few grand for the teams to get special wraps for the Knoxville nationals and most non-winged teams probably would rather spend their limited budgets on making the cars go faster.

Karl Kinser said one day, when ask about his all white sprint car, he was preparing for Steve. I have never won a race because the car was pretty!
