1977 500 when Foyt won his 4th. I went camping in the U.P. in Michigan and it was cold. 9 hrs north of Indy. Listened on radio that day and haven't missed a 500 since.

These are the stories I grew up on. My parents followed the champ cars everywhere back then. Dad raced go karts and some stock car and TQ stuff but they loved the champ cars. The whole reason I love open wheel dirt racing so I would love have seen any of them.
