Just watched the TV show pickers and the were at former sprint car owner and sponsor ray skinner of Southwest Ohio. Shower chassis and wing on the show. I think ray was in with Marshall Campbell in the late 1980s or early 90s.
Skinner used to always pull in Burg with a Semi with Ray Skinner Demolition on the side with a crane and wrecking ball on the side. I believe Campbells performance engines were part of the team as well. or they were two teams that merged at some point. I remember Rodney Ritter driving a Campbells Nance in the early 80s.
Then I remember Pup Huntley running with them late eighties early 90s. and yes Whalie Joined or bought the team and had one of the most beautiful Winged Sprint Cars I've seen A Gold number # with a huge eagle on the top of the wing. https://fscpictorial.smugmug.com/199...rs/i-Td8smC5/A
Sucked being behind the hauler at the red light in North Star. That Chrome door threw some serious head lightage back at ya. I'd have to say that was Sammy esque (sp), Car & hauler. Wahlie & Sammy were/are friends.

Charles you"re right it was a red car with a gold #1 and it was a beautiful car ran with the All Stars with the pup in it then they joined up with the outlaws and put the dude in it I'm thinking a Jim Walhte owned the car and they ran the outlaws a couple of years
Theres a link to a pic from Fishers Sprint Pictorial. I just always remember Marshall Cambell always had the M behind the number. Im not sure if Skinner was ever part of the Whalie Team. But Marshall Cambell was with SKinner before that.
It was a old semi with skinner demolition on the side and a crane with a wrecking ball. This at a time most were still open trailering.
As for Whalie, I remember it starting out as Vandermark and Whalie. Whalie owned a trucking company and also was a pastor.
