I drove down to Clarksville Tennessee last weekend to watch the guys in the Vintage Sprint cars race. I was surprised>>>they actually did race. Instead of sitting around in lawn chairs these guys were actually working on their race cars and racing side by side on the race track. Most racing is done as a hobby now days and many fans would also like to get in the action. This class is one of those classes that would be a very affordable possibility for them. The cars and parts are not available new but exist in large quantities in garages all over the mid-west. Many of these guys also come to the race track with open trailers a plus for the promoter.
Paragon should be the idea track for these guys, it is the type of track that their cars raced on when they were in their prime and should give them a chance to stretch their legs a bit. Fans should also try to make it down to the pits and check these cars out, some of them are beautiful.
