We lost senna and ratzenburger on a race weekend in Italy....

Very sad day indeed; I was watching when Ayrton crashed. I have started playing back my recording of today's Russian F1 race and thus far I have not heard Ratzenburger mentioned, but lots about Senna. I guess that is understandable, considering Senna's achievements, but still you would think there would be some mention since both occurred in conjunction with the same event.

Rubens barrichello had a nasty landing in the tires if i remember correctly

You are correct. I was watching that day as well. Sad day and weekend indeed. Senna was an incredibly talented driver. The battles between him and Prost were crazy.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

If you have ever seen the Senna Documentary, Dr. Sid Watkins tried to talk Senna out of racing that day. I wish he'd have listened to Sid that day.
