That's the best idea yet. Increase tow $, that way its easy to see its being provided to the racers vs "put in a points fund" that no one can determine if it is or not.

Do you consider the $100 that Lawrenceburg pays every sprint driver that doesn't make the feature tow money? You don't have to start a heat or B Main to receive it. If you break in hot laps you still are paid $100. They also have a points fund which I believe is paid to the top ten in points.

Wow, that wasn't even a disrespectful post or anything. Can't believe they deleted it. You only wanted some answers.

Transparency would go along way in this situation. For example, a track who moves to a four Hoosier tire rule to get a higher payout from Hoosier for the "point fund", the amount given for instituted tire rule change should be disclosed by the track and Hoosier. That amount should then be accounted for point fund at the end of the year. A promoter could even allow an interloper to run without four Hoosiers on the car but that driver/team would be ineligible for any of the point fund at the end of the year.

A couple people have mentioned that if you still wanna run American Racers on the front and left rear, you won't get any points with the series or track you are competing at. I'm cool with that! How about it?

The WAR Series will be putting 100% of the Hoosier money into the point fund this year.
Thanks Casey. Finally a Promoter with the Racer in Mind.

Why talk more about it since the tracks doing it won't even listen. Very sad that we have to pay more yet again to run at our local tracks. I could really care less what USAC or MSCS do they are not for everyone. And for the local tracks to treat the weekly racer like an endless money pit had better stop or they won't have full fields of cars for much longer.
