Can't thank the Vets enough for their selfless service.

I can't even imagine the things some of you went through, Have done and some live with everyday. I know it affects everyone in different ways and some people remember the service at the times of their lives and others with life long nightmares.

THANK YOU!

Who has the best meal deal for Veterans today?

Charles

For every one guy up front there were ten of us back in the back supporting him. I went did my time, learned all I could did as good of job as I could and got out and moved on. I didn't want to go but >>>all in all I wouldn't trade my experience in the Army for anything.

I think we still need the "Draft" so the kids coming up today could have the same experiences as I did.

Austin

That is why I'm so petite.

We did Golden Coral last year, thinking about lunch and dinner this year. I already got my education before they drafted me (That was a real epic battle between me and the draft board)>>> so this is about my only perk I get out of them two fun filled years.

Guess I'll just get out my DD-214 and head out.

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 the absolute horror of WW1 finally came to a close, the "war to end all wars." Unfortunately, the seeds were sown shortly thereafter, in part due to the Treaty of Versailles, for an even bigger war to erupt in 1939 in Europe and earlier in the 1930's when Japan attacked China. Read "The **** of Nanking" by Iris Chang which occured in 1937. The Japanese have never apologized for their war crimes of WW2 like the Germans have. "A Walk Along the Front" by Stephen O'Shea revisits the trenches from Switzerland to the coast of Belgium from WW1 and is a great read as well. I was able to visit Belgium and northern France in 2000 and walked some of these trenches and it was an unforgettable experience. Go and visit if you have an interest and get the chance as reading books is fine but being there is surreal.

I can't believe a word got deleted in the titile of a book but it is a four letter word describing a crime usually committed by a man against a woman. I hope this description passes the test.

Thank you for all the Thank Yous. They are well appreciated from this ol' Vietnam Vet, who has seen the Tiger Smile. I'd do it all over again, and not think twice about it. God Bless The USA.
