Shelby County Fairgrounds has a beautiful covered grandstand that was completed early this Summer.

The 'burg is a stretch, the new stands cover maybe a third of the stands, the old Grandstands were totally covered.

Charles

That covered grand stand doesn't leak a bit but the one at Tulsa is "Heated". Then you got Fort Wayne also it's pretty warm in their .

Those roofs sure make it nice for the race fans on them hot summer daytime races. I wish some tracks would try the day time Sunday race as opposed to Friday night racing. Think about all the electricity you could save and if you had a surface like Haubstadt's it would probably hold up real well also, and also their would be no High School football to put up with. I don't even want to hear about them Taxi Cab races on Sundays either>>>them are a different breed of fan>>>but same breed driver.
