Quoted from a press release about WoO on another board:

"Schatz took home the KSE Hard Charger Award after advancing four positions."

So B Short wins from P2 and it's the greatest race of the year...
D Schatz wins from P5 and some how that's the joke of the day...

If the Schatz deal was from Knoxville, that is not a true comparison, because of the way the line up is determined. That is just my opinion

I think they are talking about McCool JunctionTuesday night. There were only 19 cars and the last 3 or 4 had no chance so it is all relative.

Last year at the Knoxville Nationals, Schatz came out of the B-Main and won the A-main in the biggest race of the year. Tracks need to pay big money for someone to go to the back and try to win, Then you will see PASSING.

Not that i'm for the wing vs. non wing thing. But i think the discussion is about the hard charger. It appears Schats took it in a Woo race advancing +4 positions. While a quick web search the Haubstadt race I'm assuming you are referring to Brackett took the hard charger advancing +9 positions.

What it meant was simply that not one driver advanced more than four positions from his starting spot in the entire feature event. That equates to a paucity of passing.
