Strange, but true....I live no more than 3 miles from the speedway and the ground under the trees is still dry. Unbelievable that I sat in the rain for 2-1/2 hours at the track just to get home and find it racing dry.
The Burg was offered Teusday by USAC . They were told that the Burgs liquor liscence is only good for weekends and it would be hard to get people to work on a weeknight. Sorry no USAC conspiracy.
That's why I asked, I didn't wanna blast the wrong people. When you pay for a sprint week race, you should get a sprint week race. Or, they should have their rain date policy posted at the ticket window, knowing there was weather in the area. Saying you can come back to any of their races to watch their 20 sprint cars with 3-4 hot dogs is a little rediculous when you're paying the USAC price. I understand there's a USAC race at the end of September, but you'll be missing a few of the cars from out of state and from the MSCS race the same day. And what if that date gets rained out, you're forced to hold your ticket until next year to get what you paid for?
