All the whining aside, I've never been to ANY track in Indiana. Grew up in Arizona.. You want a rubbered up dry slick ice rink, I'll give you directions.. (not gonna call out any tracks). I'm currently in South Carolina where sprint cars are like a mystical unicorn for people like us, and like a pesty cockroach for the locals and their fenders.
Needless to say, take advantage of the racing you've got. If it slicks up, and you dont wanna go next week, stay home. Or sit in the stands and watch a race. Whichever you do, just dont pick on the tracks or promoters. Do like the drivers: Take what you can get, or stay home. |

I disagree with s w, there is nothing wrong with race fans or drivers expressing their opinions as to the type track prep they prefer/ it dosen't mean its what we'll get, but if it ain't what we're getting and we don't voice an opinion, we ain't never gonna get rooster tails of wet clay on out burgers now will we?

At least we have a variety of tracks in Indiana where you can make an educated guess as to the type of track you'll have and you can plan accordingly. We're fortunate to have two tracks in NSSN's Top Ten Tracks in America with Tri-State and Kokomo leading the charge. It's also a plus that they are on opposite ends of the state and have the best consistently prepared surfaces, which dictates why they are so popular.

Indiana tracks are the worst ever. I would much rather watch a race at Jacksonville speedway. Also NASCAR is the best racing period. Dale JR ftw.... He would beat any non wing racer in his first attempt in a sprint car
