Looks like a great opportunity for everyone to run for very good money! I read that Phil Heavelow and Mark Billings are definitely going to make the trip from Missouri. Hopefully all of the Lightning Sprint racers come out and support this and take home some $$$$

Payout is better than some full size sprint car purses! Thank you Henderson Chevrolet and Western Kentucky Trucking as well as MMSA and Western Kentucky Speedway!! Lightning sprints are the best value in racing...hands down. Lap times comparable to full size sprints, for fractions of the cost. And our shows run quicker being self starting.

probably the best thing is the purse structure, with a purse that large we usually see a big win number and the purse drops off rapidly as the finish position falls off. A 20th would pay a big part of our travel expenses. Thanks to Western Kentucky Trucking and Henderson Gmc Chevy for supporting this race. We need more of these people and it is all tax deductible as an advertising expense, a kinda of win win deal.

This is also Allen Rupenthal country If we survive Brownstown we will sure be trying to get down there.

This is a hell of an opportunity for you guys that live anywhere close to that area. You really need to support this effort. Especially since it could lead to additional well paying races. Hard to beat a purse like this in our class up to this point. Maybe this is a sign of good things to come for Lighting Sprints. Mark and I are both excited to be part of it. While not this race, MALS is co-sanctioning some races with MMSA to present some additional better paying races later this year in Illinois, Indiana as well as Missouri and Kansas. Hope some of you can also attend those. Weather permitting.........see ya at Western Kentucky to start with!

Is that the bridge that was closed the last time we went down there. We been thinking about trying to get reservations at the "Ambrose Trailer park" or just camping out at the race track. That is how we did it at "Brown County Speedway" in Ohio and US 24 Speedway in Logansport In. Come to think about it that Logansport guy ran a trailer park also right next to the race track. Nothing like getting up when the sun does, stepping outside the truck to do your business and hitting the road looking for the first greasy spoon and breakfast.

Racing at it's best!!!!
